The American Film Institute, founded in 1967 to champion film excellence and preserve cinema history, maintains its focus on advancing the art form and the industry professionals who practice it.
The talent agencies that represent writers, directors, producers, and actors have traditionally been based in Beverly Hills, making the city the place where deals are negotiated and creative partnerships are formed. This concentration of creative and business power has made Beverly Hills the center of gravity for the entertainment industry for over a century, drawing not just the famous but the skilled professionals, production crews, and support businesses that make the industry function.
Professionals in the entertainment industry often have income streams that are project-based, performance-dependent, or tied to ongoing business success. A term life policy protects dependents when income is essential but may change: whether you are under contract for a specific term, the principal in a production company, or employed in a permanent role at one of the studios or agencies, a policy sized to your current obligations and income gives you control over the safety net rather than leaving that decision to chance.
